As per the CIRB's order issued yesterday evening, port operations in Montreal are set to resume starting Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 7:00 AM.
According to the Maritime Employers Association (MEA), they will comply with the CIRB’s directive and allow port operations to resume.
Port employees will receive their assignments beginning 6:00 PM on Friday, November 15, in preparation for the resumption of activities the following day.
Montreal Gateway Terminals will be fully operational starting Saturday, November 16, and will immediately implement terminal recovery measures to address any backlog and disruptions caused by the strike.
