The United States appears to have come to an agreement with Canada and Mexico to possibly avoid a costly tariff war. We are waiting for formal guidance from each government.
The tariffs for Canada and possibly Mexico are delayed for 30 days, according to a post on President Donald Trump’s Truth Social account.
Tariffs against China and Hong Kong are set to proceed as scheduled. Goods in transit prior to 12:01 a.m. on 2/1/2025, if entered before March 7, will not be subject to the additional tariffs. Goods in transit outside of this window will be subject to the additional tariffs.
Further updates will be provided as they become available.
